Pre-Primary & Daycare
Daycare, Nursery, Junior KG, and Senior KG grounded in the authentic Montessori principle to "follow the child", featuring Jolly Phonics and self-correcting sensorial apparatus.
Where Toddlers Love School & The Process of Learning
JJ School Montessori works on the Montessori Philosophy whose basic principle is to “follow the child”. We understand the need of a child’s mind to open up and grow with analytical ability and logic. Our main goal is to foster and inculcate the process of holistic learning in children rather than forcing education on them.
We provide a fun learning environment to our toddlers that they can enjoy being themselves while learning and growing with joy. In our pre-school, children grow in a free environment where they learn to express themselves and find their unique talents in a warm, conducive, healthy and natural environment.
All items in the environment are scaled to the child’s size, including furniture, shelves, utensils, dish-ware, cleaning implements, and the Montessori materials themselves. There is no focal centre to the classroom; this reflects that the teacher is not the focus, but that all are one community together.
Developing the Normalized Child: Happy, Independent, Busy & Confident
The 8 Core Montessori Learning Areas
Developmentally designed materials that engage the senses, build independence, and lay a joyful foundation for lifetime learning.
Sensorial Learning
Refining the 5 Senses & GeometryIsolates qualities such as color, shape, texture, sound, size, taste, weight, and smell. Trains sensory discrimination, concentration, and prepares for solid geometry.
Practical Life Exercises
Independence & Fine Motor SkillsInstills independence through dressing, buttoning, zipping, pouring, and polishing. Builds task sequencing, concentration, and the exact eye-hand muscles needed for writing.
Movement & Coordination
Self-Motion & Spatial AwarenessSelf-motion is essential to learning and perception. Walking the continuously curving line, carrying apparatus, and spatial balance develop 3D motor control and physical poise.
Language & Jolly Phonics
Explosion into Reading & WritingCapitalizes on sensitive language periods. Movable alphabet and Jolly Phonics lead to descriptive speech, social courtesy, and the celebrated natural explosion into reading.
Geography & Culture
Global Respect & World HabitatsTactile globes, continent puzzle maps, flags, flora, fauna, and world cultures instill early global awareness, geographical understanding, and deep respect for all life.
Concrete Mathematics
Tangible Operations Before AbstractionMath is taught through concrete manipulation before abstraction. Children tangibly experience arithmetic operations (addition, multiplication, subtraction, division) and binomial models.
Music, Dance & Art
Creative & Cultural ExpressionTone bells, Manipuri classical dance, vocal music, painting, pottery, and wood carving are woven across daily work to enhance cultural exploration and creative expression.
Science (Botany & Zoology)
Appreciation of the Natural WorldHands-on experiments in Botany (plant life, seed growth, flora care) and Zoology (animals, habitats, eco-systems) cultivate lifelong scientific inquiry and love for nature.
